Would a large chunk of matter passing so close effect the orbits of
the earth, moon and all the man made satilites? The distance and mass
would be factors in how much change of course. The relative small mass
compared to earth would mean the change would be small to the earth
orbit, but even a small change over time could have interesting effects.
I wonder if you could see the orbit changes in the logs of geo
stationary satellites, that is if you could distinguish the rocks pull
from all the other bodies effecting their orbits?
