Oh, there is an implied smile / IMHO in the capitalized "How You Ought To
Be Doing Things", but there is still something of a point. I am
sympathetic to Alex's "shouldn't we be working on pertinent problems here?"
position.

For instance, according to the ERPS minutes, POGO is gated on gizmocopter,
which is gated on flight control. This seems to be a good example of a
point on the critical path, but there is no discussion of it, even though
it is one of the things you are most likely to get useful feedback on from
someone who has done something analogous.

Pierce did email me once about looking at the Armadillo flight control
code, but it arrived at a moment when I didn't have the time to properly
respond, and I sort of forgot about it (sorry!). The situation is that
part of the deal I have with my wife, who is a hopeless entrepreneur :-),
is that I will curb my natural desire to share all the information I
produce, and keep our actual source code to myself.

However, if someone outlines the nature of your flight control, I would be
happy to comment on it based on my experience.
