There is a world of difference between imperfect and useless. KISS I flew on silver and achieved its design performance. KISS II flew on silver all three times and achieved its design performance. The KISS III engine achieved 95% of its design performance on Sunday, using a test setup that causes a pressure drop just before the engine. The fact that IT WORKS makes silver far from useless, IMNSHO. >Also, you should do the math before worrying so much about weight. I'm opposed on principle.
