My humble opinion is that some of the refinements in cat pack
construction (baffle rings etc) that ERPS has used to try to
coax activity out of cermet pellets under adverse circumstance
(such as undiagnosed contamination from stabilizers in the
propellant) have, when applied to the silver pack we've used for
KISS, resulted in a fairly well-behaved system.

On Tuesday, we did several things to improve the situation, but we have found that our anti-channel rings are not doing a good job at the moment. We have both shrunk the rings and stretched the motor. We are going to try brazing an engine permanently together (each ACR brazed to the chamber) tomorrow.
