I'm usually there and running a video recorder with one of the FRS
radios secured under the camera. This records the radio transmissions
onto tape. See the movies section of the ERPS web site for examples.
In the presentations we did at Space Access 02 and various SF
conventions thus year, having the checklist audible on the video has
gotten us some good comments and respect for the pros. And some very
nice comments from the PRS folks after flights at MTA. 8-)
