We don't abandon trash; that's littering.  We thought we were donating
scrap aluminum to whoever wanted it; it ought to be worth a few
dollars.  If that's a bad idea, set it aside (it's a triangular
aluminum mast a few feet long), I'll pick it up on my way back from
Loscon, and please accept our apologies.

It also occurs to me that we should make a donation to RRS to help out
with maintenance.  How much would be appropriate?
