Agreed; I was more interested in unsubscribing from arocket, which has 3x as many emails ;-)If anyone has objections to allowing general liquid rocketry discussions on ERPS list, please speak up! I agree with Henry that it would be a shame if people who have been contributing to the list unsubscribed.
It's not that arocket is a bad list; it's just that 1/2 of it seems to consist of mixer technology,
There's also a certain amount of 'censorship' going on there which bothers me to an extent (for example, searching the archives is problematic), although I certainly agree that solids and hybrids are militarily sensitive, it's not quite so clear that liquids are quite so censorship worthy; they're much more finicky, and far less likely to be slung together in the middle of the south bank.
Still, there's a big overlap between ERPS and arocket. We could choose to remove the overlap and put it into another list; everyone subscribed to ERPS can add a subscription to the new list.
Overall, my feeling is that it might be better to create a new list that would suck the liquids out of ERPS and arocket [pun tax is not enforceable in the UK is it? ;-)].
Or put the same thing a different way- how about we create a new pure-erps-list for erps-related announcements and discussion and change the current erps-list charter to include liquids in general?
