I was thinking of largish panels of 1mm thick aluminum with suitably large glued overlaps (probably some shamfering and some pop rivets to minimise peeling and stress concentration). Rough calculations seems to indicate a low tankage fraction. I was also thinking it might be necessary to use some sort of pump inside the tank to spray its contents around to minimise temperature differences during ascent (don't want the glue to melt!)
It needs a pumped engine (obviously) to make it work; and these are not particularly easy to make at our level.
Anyway just an idea, wondered what anyone else thought.
