Hmmm.... $26/lb for nitric acid? and $61 for MMH?
That seems awful high for commodity chemicals that the rocket industry has been buying in bulk for years...
I'd guess that most of that cost is due to the fact that both those chemicals are extremely dangerous and therefore expensive and difficult to transport and store. Remember that story about the quote that included the price of the armed escort?
