Happy New Year. We just did the second flight test of Gizmocopter. Control is greatly improved over the first test, but could stand a little more tweaking. We ran into a problem with the serial port talking to the BasicStamp controller. I think it is a bug in getting the serial info and then changing it. I would get the error about 2-3 seconds into starting the flight control software. Opening minicom and then exiting fixed the problem.
