My understanding is that under GOX or LOX flow within piping, anything organic will instantly combust, which will cause *any* metal plumbing next to it to also burn, which will instantly rupture the piping and cause a bad day. We have not yet attempted any use of LOX or GOX, although it's a clear favorite in terms of performance and cost, if you're willing to deal with cryogenic oxidizers.

I'm pretty sure that the "fingeprint in lox" problem is an exaggeration, just like the "splash some peroxide on your clothes and you are a human torch" exaggeration.
