The main argument against implicit strict, peppered across new syntax, is increased complexity for little gain. In other words, bloat. If you want implicit strict, then do it for module bodies only (in or out-of-line). Anything else: YAGNI. I'm tellin' ya, no one's going to write any significant non-module code. : ) { Kevin }
