For synapse, I was trying to build the war distribution, on 1.2. All of the relative path names were wrong, I had to go through and correct them all. I also had an issue where I needed to add the woden-api dependency to synapse core.
For carbon, I've already sent emails to that list with a few of the build issues that come up. First was a problem with the custom maven-source-plugin (it's commented out in trunk, now), and there were a few spots where dependencies weren't listed (I would have to go back through to find all of these again, but the one I mentioned in an email was that the org.wso2.carbon.user.core project pom was missing the dependency that provides the javax.xml.stream package - this seems to be fixed now). I was building Carbon from trunk. Do you guys build against the same repositories using the same poms that are publically available? With maven, build problems like these are always a little surprising, I would expect them to just work. - Jason > Hi Jason, > > Please download this zip file from [1] and try to install that on to > your local repo and rebuild the esb source.
