No biggie, but I know Marian has attempted in the past to get Jan to spell her
name correctly...without success...lol. Hope things settle down for you now.

I'm not at all surprised Marian would help :-) Oh, just an fyi, but she has

You are so welcome Judith, sorry I did not e mail you personally, this has
been a very intense time, and I could not have made it with out Marion, she is
my hero in all of this.

I know you must know how it feels, as so many times you yourself have stepped
in, and saved many eskies. I guess once you get started it is hard to stop,
but it is still
a heartbreaker when things go wrong, and a dog has to be replaced.

The good news is usually it does work out, with a network like we have her,

and yes I ove the song also, that is why in my post a week ago, I said, Layla
you got me on my knees, that is how I truly felt at the time, lol

Debbie...I am so happy for you and Layla Lyall Deshotel :) It doesn't shock me
that Marion would do that. I don't mean to downplay Marion, but I don't think
there are many on this list that wouldn't do that. My monster boy Sparky needed
transportation and to be put on the plane around 3:30 am to fly into Toronto.
So many people helped get him from Stacie in Iowa and then Louise was the one
that went into Chicago in the mid of night.
Good luck with your Layla Lyall!....Sounds to me like she is a lucky girl!

Hello Fellow Eskie Lovers,

I am writing this to let everyone know how everything went with precious Layla.

You know I have been in this group for over five years, and I have always known
what really great caring people are in this group, but my latest experience was
overwhelming . And I
just have to share.

You 'll know how I had to get Layla placed, and brought to Canada, and it was
all getting ironed out for Oct. 11. Canadian, Thanksgiving, well the bottom
fell out (won't go into details) and we had to act quickly and how do you do
such a thing , on such a short notice?

Well you have the good fortune to know a lady called MARION LYALL. Who at a
drop of a hat , went all the way to the Canadian border to pick up Layla,
brought her to her home,
and gave her the good ole Canadian welcome, she made sure Layla wanted for
nothing, and got her ready for her forever home, she will be flying to tomorrow.

In just the short time I know her, she feels like family, we share our love for
this wonderful breed, and I know my mind is at ease tonight , and I can quit
worrying and crying for sweet Layla, as her new life has only just started, in
this great country , just above Montana, we call Canada.

I have had Jr. Layla's pup with me for the last two days, and he is doing
great.

Thanks for letting me share. This is a true Cinder eskie story. : )

P. S. I think maybe we should give Layla, the last name of Lyall, in honor
of our good friend Marion Lyall. Sounds cute, eh, Layla Lyall
