Hello, everybody.
Thank you for your passion and love about english.
My name is Edward Park(english name). I live in Seoul Korea.
and I was one of the silent members.
I traveled Greece(Athens and Santorini island) and Dubai(airport),
Hong Kong and Macau.
If I may choose factor about Q2, it should be the same next.
a) IMPORTANT
#9 humour
#4 socialising with contacts
#2 shaking hands
#1 exchanging business cards
#6 accepting interruptions
#8 punctuality
==> Confidence is the best way and we can win in the business.
In addition, If they have honesty and morality, that will be great.
b) NOT IMPORTANT
#7 being formal or informal
#12 using first names
#5 small talk before meetings
#10 giving presents
#11 being direct (saying exactly what you think)
c) BEST AVOIDED
#3 kissing
=> We are not like kissing at business meeting,
because we had Confucian ideas of the Orientalism in history.
(until 19th century about 500 years)
but now globalization many changed Korean culture.
Kissing is a good way between love ones.
I will be back next week. I'm going to picnic to island with my family
on saturday.
Have a nice weekend.
Thank you.
