Hi Claire, Simone, Redwolf and all!! This is an interesting question, Claire. My first asnwer would be, Yes, honesty is the best policy. But when I think twice in our daily life, things are a little different. I personally believe the better is to mix both Simone's point of view with Redwolf's. Sometimes I need to omit some information or in order not to be rude, we have to make little "lies". I don't think this kind of behavior is disonesty. I think a person who do that, having a good will, is a tactful person. What do you think about that? How many time have you omited some things in order to be polite and not to cause an impact?
Have a nice day!!!
