Just tried again. The first message sent appears in twhirl after that no other messages appear in thwirl. The messages, however, do appear in the web UI.

As a result clients might have problems displaying new messages posted from their own interface- it's possible that some messages seemingly disappear and some seem to be posted twice. Check web interface to ascertain that all is OK. I'll see how I can best fix this problem.
