I'm trying to install ethereal 0.9.14 or 0.9.15 (tried both) on cygwin but somehow cannot get it to work. Sometimes I cannot get thru the ./configure it starts giving error like:
ran the command : "./configure --with-pcap=../wpdpack" (even when i give absolute path of pcap.h from the root, it does not work)
configure: configuring in epan configure: running /bin/bash './configure' --prefix=/usr/local '--with-pcap=../wpdpack' --cache-file=/de v/null --srcdir=. configure: error: invalid package name: pcap configure: error: /bin/bash './configure' failed for epan
Sometimes I'm able to get thru ./configure ( I don't know how.. magic.. duh in the version 0.9.14) but get stuck at "make" where it complains like:
make: *** No rule to make target `gtk/libui.a', needed by `ethereal.exe'. Stop.
Any help is appreciated..
