I see some runt packets on our Cisco 6509
Multilayer Switch while I am capturing data using ethereal. However, I don't see
these show up in ethereal capture. Is there something I have to do to capture
the runts in ethereal. I am using 0.98 build of Ethereal that I built on a
Solaris 8 machine. The capture is done via "monitor session" on the Cisco 6509
where all traffic from one interface is forwarded to another where ethereal is
capturing, so it could be that the 6509 is not forwarding runts to the monitor
port. However, I just wanted to pose this question to see if someone had a
suggestion.
