Those
problems are caused by the Win32 port of the graphical Gtk+ library, not by
Ethereal. It is not clear to me what's the underlying cause, maybe an incorrect
pixel x/y value or use of an uninitialized display context in a Windows GDI call
from within Gtk+.

From: Paul WasikI have been experiencing similar problems on an XP Pro desktop with all available patches and WinPcap 3.0. This is annoying as I want to run a long term capture and am unable to run more than an hour or so before Ethereal crashes due to this same error.Thanks,Paul-----Original Message-----
