Hello again, As I said before, I was hoping that is have found a good configuration for rtai. Apparently I was wrong. Here is the message when I try to load the etherlab service:
$sudo /etc/init.d/etherlab start Starting EtherLab AppCoreinsmod: can't read '/opt/etherlab/rtai-3.6.2/modules/rtai_math.ko': No such file or directory And here are the RTAI modules I have generated: /opt/etherlab/rtai-3.6.2/modules$ ls -la drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 26 May 11,08 . drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 26 May 11,08 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 47168 26 May 11,08 Module.symvers lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 37 26 May 11,08 rtai -> /lib/modules/2.6.24.7-rtai-3.6.2/rtai -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 12617 26 May 11,08 rtai_bits.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7954 26 May 11,08 rtai_calibrate.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 31753 26 May 11,08 rtai_fifos.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 38269 26 May 11,08 rtai_hal.ko lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 26 May 11,08 rtai_ksched.ko -> rtai_sched.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 105534 26 May 11,08 rtai_lxrt.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 13821 26 May 11,08 rtai_mbx.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 17656 26 May 11,08 rtai_mq.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 34007 26 May 11,08 rtai_msg.ko lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 26 May 11,08 rtai_mup.ko -> rtai_sched.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 31163 26 May 11,08 rtai_netrpc.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 107988 26 May 11,08 rtai_sched.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 26994 26 May 11,08 rtai_sem.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 19366 26 May 11,08 rtai_serial.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 14080 26 May 11,08 rtai_shm.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1636 26 May 11,08 rtai_signal.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4841 26 May 11,08 rtai_smi.ko lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 26 May 11,08 rtai_smp.ko -> rtai_sched.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 19484 26 May 11,08 rtai_tasklets.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 13438 26 May 11,08 rtai_tbx.ko lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 26 May 11,08 rtai_up.ko -> rtai_sched.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2176 26 May 11,08 rtai_usi.ko -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 18938 26 May 11,08 rtai_wd.ko I suspect this was due to some missing config option for RTAI. I know this is not an Etherlab question, but can you give some guideline which RTAI options are absolutely required for Etherlab? Thanks! --JS _______________________________________________ etherlab-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.etherlab.org/mailman/listinfo/etherlab-users
