The answer is still NO. EtherCAT does not know when the packet has arrived. So it will not be able to report that information to you! Except of having more hassle, your proposal does not change anything. What we are aguing about is: What came first, the hen or the egg?? If you can answer me that, then I will start to review the EtherCAT system, promise.
