No, you can't easily change the colors, because the theme is build
with pixmaps...
You can change the default GNUstep theme colors via Preferences.app, because
it's a "programmed" theme, but not with Camaelon / Nesedah (or SimpleUI).
The solution would be to create a Plastik theme for Camaelon. If you
want to do it,
have a look at Nesedah :-)
Else yes, GNUstep doesn't work well with KWin, and that's something
that should be improved...

Yep.. as far as I remember, it's just some missing pixmap, it
shouldn't be hard to fix it..
I don't have the time right now, but I should be able to work on
gnustep/etoile after tuesday, hopefully... I have a lot of things to
do :-)

Well, Etoile for the moment is mostly about frameworks, not applications :-/
Of course we plan to work on applications, but for the moment we
focused on the frameworks. So not much useable things if you are not a
developer ;-)

Easy to understand :-)
Well, there is no painting app -- banlu started a very promising one
(maliwan/blutulip), but I don't know its current status...
