In squeak (eg. www.squeakland.org), there is a scripting facitility similar to your diagrams, with graphical representation of objects, test conditions, conditions etc. It could be maybe a good inspiration source for your workflow application.
You mean, Squeak Etoys ? Scratch look to me a bit better from that point of view.. ?
