The problem is they use their own XML parser and various other home- 
made frameworks iirc. I'm a bit afraid it adds too many unwelcome  
dependencies.

Ditto for me, but I would like to test it and take a look at the code  
first. We also need to discuss with the author the possibility to  
relicense code under BSD, I think it's GPL licensed. The problem  
could lies in the fact Chronographer is under GPL license iirc.
