It's worth noting that the first edition of this book had all of the examples tested with GNUstep, while the second one (Programming in Objective-C 2) did not. If you can find a copy of the first edition, I'd recommend it too. Most of the stuff in the second edition should now work with clang + libobjc2, but GNUstep won't accept contributions that depend on this combination (probably for a long time) and Étoilé won't for at least a few more months.
