Well, I am a computer professional, and I do know not to click on attachments unless I am DARN SURE it's safe. That said, I also know the value of a good virus scanner. That's because when I'm at work my dad runs amok around the house and well... some of the things I find in my cache are better left unsaid. He also managed to click on an attachment from his Hotmail account (looking for those purty party pictures, no doubt.)
Yep, my computer was one of the infected ones sending virii to the innocent users of this list. Turns out I had updated my virus signature just before this update came out. Don't worry, it's clean now. So why am I sending this to the list? Two reasons: To apologize, and to offer a B&P for anyone who feels they want after all this virus talk. Maybe it's a WOB, call it what you want. If you're interested, check my list and ask for ONE (1) show from my list. Contact me with the subject "virii" without the quotes. Then you can tell me why I should use 'viruses' instead of 'virii.' Many many people will be accepted, but people looking for more interesting or tasty shows will get preference. The truth is, I like the sound of 'virii' better than 'viruses.' Who cares if it's a word?
