from phish.com:
"if we have chosen to offer for sale...a particular phish performance, this
'official' version will take precedence over amateur recordings being
offered for DOWNLOAD. in these instances, we require that digital audio
repositories remove any recording of these particular performances from
their collections.... in no case may any OFFICIALLY-RELEASED phish
recording (live or studio) be duplicated or otherwise traded or offered."
(emphasis added)

no mention of snail mail trading, though it's clear that such shows can't be
online. so, at best, the policy is vague on snail mail trading of aud
recordings of shows that have been officially released.

so, i respectfully argue that YOU are wrong. but, as this policy is vague,
there is of course room for such argument.

If by "code of honor", you mean "code to flip out and go
nuts for absolutely no reason at all even if it means that
people might think you are totally insane or sweet", then
you are right. But if you mean a "code to be nice and speak
nicely while sharing and not cutting off heads", then you're
the biggest idiot ever!!!!!!
