I'm not running XP, but on another mailing list that I read regularly, someone was having the same problem. They had to uninstall and manually remove all references from the registry, then reinstall MKW and it worked fine. Another user, however, reported that this didn't work for them. Worth a shot if you're comfortable playing in the registry, but MS officially doesn't support that so don't tell them I told you to do it ;)

I am receiving the message "output error received by Shorten DLL" and then a bunch of crazy characters afterwards. Is there anything special I have to do to get this working? I have tried to uninstall and reinstall about 4 times and the same problem happens each time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
