Yes, this is usually because Furthur is generating some MD5's.  Furthur
uses MD5's to make sure that you completed the download, and I am pretty
sure that it uses MD5's to group filesets together on different hosts.
When you complete a download, Furthur will generate MD5's for each file in
the set, and then share it under those MD5's.  So, when it has to generate
MD5's for 500 megs worth of a show, that will definately peg your
processor for a few minutes.
