Hey Now, I just converted PLQ 7.07.01 from .shn to .wav, played it on windows media player (from the hard drive) in windows XP pro, and found some anaomolies in set II, specifically skips in the slipknot-the eleven area, sound like cd skips almost. Is this my crappy windows XP system or a problem in the .shn's that are circulating? I decompressed to wav and then played from the hard drive. I know its got to be my system, just hoping someone can confirm for sanity's sake. (Plus I need to justify a new system . . .)
Also, anybody have an opinion on high speed burning causing cd errors, like skipping on a regular cd player?
