Hey all,
As far as I know there is still no shn player for the mac. Last fall I
contacted macamp and soundapp about the possibility of getting a shn player.
The response I got was that I was the only one to conact them requesting it
and that there was'nt enough demand for it and that .shn was unrealistically
large for appreciable public acceptance. They agreed that mp3 sucks but
that's what the idiot masses want and that if I wanted to try a better small
format that I try vogg orbis. They did say that they would look into it but
i'm skeptical. I think a flood of emails from rabidly interested/persuasive
mac based etree'ers might expedite the developement of such a badly needed
tool. Let's say, hypothetically, that we have @15,000 peeps on etree and
maybe 5% use Macs- If we all make the effort that's @ 750 requests that may
be persuasive enough to do the trick. Whaddaya Think?
Let's Do It- Or Something Else!
