First off, I want to say thanks for all the advice I recieved from all the
etree people...

but I'd also like to say this...i've been trading and burning for about 2-3
years now and I haven't ever paid attention to where the discs were made up
or the brand name until about 10 months ago. I have, since then, kept an
eye on it. But the funny thing is that I still have shn and cdr discs that
are really crappy off brands from 2 or 3 years ago and they are perfetly
fine...

some people wrote me that the labels on the verbatim cdrs may fall off if
you get the cds wet??? do people really get discs wet. I put mine in a
spindle and put the top on to protect them.

whatever. I guess what i'm really after is if there is actually an
advantage to the better discs because the off-brand discs I have are still
perfect. don't get me wrong, I still use quality discs because its easier
that way (for bnp and trading), but can you really tell the difference for
just archiving purposes???

just wondering....thanks for all the info
