actually, you should do that either way. just make sure that you make a
comment as to what you believe the show to be/how it sounds, (i.e. this is a
new source that i think is better/worse than the others i have heard [-
or -] this seems to be a re-shn'ed copy of an already circulating
source...and it sounds fine/bad, ect...).
the db's "shn's in circulation tracker" was meant to track all the
sources that circulate, including versions of shows that have gone from
.shn>audio disc>.shn
the idea is that the md5's are fingerprint's, and as such are the best
way to follow a show (be it good or bad).
no ons should just think because a show is listed, that it is a "good"
listing. it might just as likely be listed to say "this is a horrible
version".
