I've never patched into a sbd. Are they always digital out? But if it's analog out it I don't think it matters. What the NOMAD does not come with is a pre amp. You have to add one to record. My friend made one for me. He works for Creative. The Nomad works great now for stealth recording. And I just plug it in to my usb port and I have wav files. What I'm worried about is getting caught. You can't pop out a disc or a tape.
I think Creative really blew it on this one though. They could have tapped into the DAT recording market. I was talking with a couple of guys at Creative and they had never even thought of using it in such a way. They had no clue. I'm sure very soon someone will make a recording device using a HD that'll have a preamp. Or maybe even using memory and no HD. And they'll get smaller. I'd say DAT's days are numbered. By the way these are tough. You can shake them, drop them and no skips. Maintenance free. >Message: 25 >From: "Jimbo Jonez" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Re: [etree] "Taping" w/ Nomad Jukebox...
