One other thing about mp3 ripping of shows... Because mp3 is an inferior way of dealing with music, many tapers do not want their seeds to go that route. If the shows aren't given the respect they deserve and the lossless transfers they require, some DAT tapers may curtail their seeding.
What is the purpose of mp3 anyway? Are you so impatient that you can't spend the extra hours to download it or the few days it takes to do a BnP? Are people just to lazy to figure out how to run shorten (drag and drop isn't THAT difficult is it?) or burn a disc? I just don't get it. I rip many of my shows to mp3 to listen to on my computer and portable mp3 player, but I never trade or distribute them. For your own use, fine. If mp3 is the only way you can find a show, fine. Etree just asks that you respect the standards its members have worked hard to establish and DO NOT distribute mp3 copies of the shows you get here. Help someone get setup with shorten and they will be much better off in the end.
