It matters because I have a degree in Aesthetics and Literary Theory,
which is closely linked to the study of artists, works of art, critics,
a public, creative process(es), and the complex relationships that exist
within such a constellation of variables. In fact, I focused most of my
study on the 20th C. and artists therein -within literary and other
media of artistic expression. But enough about my credentials and
education, I just wanted to feel out what sort of response (detailed,
educational, off-the-cuff) was a propos to this query.

Cheers.

PS - your post script is right on the money! I wish I had the time to
write a paper on the exchanges between artist, work, public, and critic.
Ah, to be back in college doing such work (???) again!

Why should that matter? If it were for a college-leve course it would
be a 300 level course or a graduate course. But I'm not a student. I'm

just curious what you think.

Peace,
Jeff

PS I'm curious because I think that anyone seriously interested in
writing such a paper can benefit from listening to what others have to
say about their art experiences.
