Hello all,
Due to a major fight with a certain OS oozing out of Redmond, WA. I have
finally wiped my conputer clean and used the obligatory disinfectant to
sterilize it and installed SuSE 6.3 with what appears to be great success.
I have a couple of questions however, I have my SB128 live working in Root
with OSS. Which, by the way, I did not have to get the drivers from
Creative Labs. They were included on the 6.3 distro. I don't seem to be
able to get it to work in "Ron" my working area. Any thoughts and help in
this would be great.
Second, are there any recomendations for an HTML editor for linux. I am
used to using Homesite which, does not do the work for me, but has a nice
interface.
Third, Has anyone installed an HP printer with any success and if so,
where do I look??? I have an HP 1120c and really would like to continue to
use this.
Finally, is there a way to do a "dial on demand" setup? If this is a
painful setup, just say so as I am getting DSL in a couple of weeks or so.
However, it would be cool if my roomate and I could share a modem(speed
reduction will indeed suck doing this).
