After Ricochet Wireless terminated service in Corvallis(and probably Eugene
too), I have been using Freei.net, which uses the same local access phone
numbers as Alta Vista. Freei.net requires that IE5 be installed. And the mail
handler that they use, Joydesk, has a pop server; but it does not pass messages
"as is" to Netscape Messenger.
Do any free internet services support Linux or do any of them NOT require IE?
