I just ordered the Linksys PCMPC100 from Amazon (even though there
is a boycott against them -- I had a $30 gift certificate, though.)

I chose that one because:

1. It was fairly cheap -- $70.
2. Amazon carried it, which meant it was $30 cheaper. :)
3. Support for it is in the pcmcia package, and was added in
September 1997, so it should have all the bugs worked out.

Once I get it, I'd like to set up something similar to the following:

Get the 3c905 card working in my tower, and link my tower to my
laptop for file transfers. And be able to use the 56k modem
connected to my tower via my laptop, thru the network connection.

Is this possible? Easy to do? Any hints?

Thanks,
Rob.
