Thanks for the info.
There were some inconsistencies between what is documented on the demo
CD-ROM and some pages on your Web site.
As for porting to Linux, I guess that the older "legacy" Anvil5000 is
already "computer independent"/"cross-platform" and could be supported as
an X-Windows application. But, I have seen that there are alot of different
desktops to choose from. I think the KDE is the most popular one, but the
Linux crowd likes to have a choice.
It is too bad that you are not considering porting your new flagship Anvil
Express to Linux. I heard that someone in the Eugene Lug has an interest in
a Linux CAD program w. AutoCad compatibility. If you already provide
filters for SaveAS .dwg and Open .dwg; this may be enough to establish a
customer base out here.
If you should decide to port AE in Linux, or even better, release your
baseline product as Open Source; there are knowledgeable folks here who
would be eager to help you w. UI issues.
Your Web site mentions that you have been promoted to VP of Software
Development.
