Hi, I'm running SuSE 6.3, and am getting closer to solving my dhcp up/down
problems, but much new software that I (attempt to) install/build uses
configure scripts to build makefiles, and many of them (some standard
format?) fail to work when they can't find my X...
I think 6.3 has Xfree86 3.5... but I _definately_ do have X, as I usually
run these scripts in an X console... (as root).

I suspect there is some environment variable that is not set as expected,
or maybe some linkage that is missing. Any clues?

What specific info from my installation would help in figuring this out?

thanks for your help on my previous issue --
I found linipcfg and GNetConfig
(I wasn't able to install either yet );

PS - I won't be able to make the demo day this Sat; I'll be
birthday-partying, but would like a Turbo3.6 workstation disk
if one is available, could someone hang onto one for me?

thanx again!!
