Greetings all,
I'm extremely new to Linux (just installed RH 6.1) and now I've got a
question about minicom. Because of my work schedule I can't ask at this
Thursdays meeting (I work 3 days, off 3 days on a rotating shift) so I
thought I'd ask here.
I installed minicom and it works fine if I'm root but not if I'm a
regular user. I looked at the man pages and edited the file
minicom.users but still I'm told that device /dev/modem is locked. I
think this has to do with the permissions on the prot, but don't know
(yet) how to access them. Anyone have any ideas???
