Dorio su works

I'm using SuSE.  And I found su works.  Now I found some of the keys like page
up, page down and f1-f12 don't work like they should but I'm still happy.
I'll just have to work on this.  I'm thinking it's the terminal as in vt100 or
something like that.  It can emulate more than one so any suggestions for the
best terminal would help.
