EUG-LUG, Well, I'm in Linux on the @home cable modem. Since I had a NIC card in my system, they went ahead and left it in there. And since I had it working in Linux already, all I had to do was change a few network config files and away I went. They have a RCA cable modem that the cable runs into. From that the ethernet cable goes to your ethernet card. So it's as easy as connecting to a LAN. The sales rep said they issue dynamic IPs, but the tech guys said the assign static IPs. I have a static IP now, which is also a sweet deal. I tested the speed by downloading the Mozilla Preview Release 1, and it ramped up to 180K/sec. "It works with Linux!" If anyone is considering signing up, you can do me a favor and let me know. I can punch in your name and email in to the referral program and get 1 month of free service. :) Thanks, Rob.
