Mandrake 7.1 Problem with pctel modem (stans pctel.sh doesnt work on 7.1)?

So... I have mandrake 7.1 running, except that damn pctel modem.
I tried stan's pctel.sh (works on mandrake 7.0 i guess...), but i cant seem to get it
to work with 7.1, i get unresolved module errors, but it does compile the pctel.o and 
put it in the system, and does load the module (lsmod shows it).

I guess i need a version of it (pctel.sh) compiled for the 2.2.15-4mdk kernel.
