Randalph, et al.
So... I installed mandrake 7.0 today, and got the exact same miserable results that i
did during last weeks clinic. I wiped that out, and installed mandrake 7.1 also today,
and did not install the dialup or any networking, then ran the pctel.sh script, and
still have the same results. This time i captured some of error messages during
install, possibly it will help diagnose this issue. here is output while installing:
Using /lib/modules/2.2.15-4mdk/misc/pctel.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.2.15-4mdk/misc/pctel.o

I left some space on the disk to install SuSE 6.3, and as soon as i find my disks, ill
try installing it. Gee It would be really great if i can get the modem working in my
computer! If i can do that, heck, maybe i can sell stan's computers! but if i cant,
then i guess ill have to find computers that everything works under linux :(
