Hi
I appreciated the responses re: graphic programs. After getting a few books
and spending several days grunting my way through learning curves, changing
to Linux from M$ is starting to become a real possibility.

The next hurdle is the Linux font library quality (ahem...an oxymoron
maybe?). After searching the www for many hours, discouragement is setting
in. Yes, there are fonts and true type font converters out there and i have
found some. One needs to either be a programmer to get them into your system
or accept that commercial graphic projects need to go back to a M$ windows
program to insert the text, which is awkward, time consuming and when you
think about it, it just doesn't make a lot of sense.

So..........If anyone has personal experience successfully finding quality
fonts and installing them on their Linux system, oh please contact me at

thanks, Yaqin
