Sorry, I missed the first post, but if you're setting up a firewall, I 
*highly* recommend OpenBSD over Linux (flameproof-suit-on-
mode).  The install is not as intuitive, but it's not bad, and ipf is 
*much* easier and more straightforward to set up than ipchains.  
No, it won't run off a floppy, but I've been really impressed by it.  
And, hey, a security record like OpenBSD's is hard to ignore.

The only downside is that I've found out that clipper.net gets 
scanned, especially stealth scans, NetBios scans, and high ports, 
several times a day.
