KDE has license problems (cf Debian won't carry it)
Gnome has more than a desktop, it's got the internal stuff like Bonobo
(inter-app comm) which is badly needed.
KDE had an early lead, and the new version will help, but I think unless QT
fixes the License, it's doomed to second best in the long run.
